Corrected (Importation)
The MPEG-4 AVC decoder would not correctly decode when there were 16 reference frames of data.
The VFAPI file reader could not correctly retreive the audio and/or video when several instances were used.
The AVI file reader no longer uses some of the ACM codecs that would cause a buffer overrun.
Can now import MPEG-2 TS files that some software generates without Access Unit Delimiter.
Can now import the LATM AAC audio format included in WTV files.
Correctly recognizes the bitrate from MPEG-2 Video streams with a broken or garbage-filled header.
Does not hang-up when importing corrupted AVC streams through the standard decoder.
Corrected (Output)
In some cases, DVD-Video MPEG file output would output a GOP longer than the DVD-Video standard requirements.
In some cases, the Blu-ray MPEG file output's maximum GOP size value would be lower than the Blu-ray standard limit.
MPEG-4 (AVC) file output's YUV colorspace settings would sometimes be incorrect.
An error would occur in MPEG-4 (AVC) file output when moving to the Format stage while the first clip of a project would require setting values out of the Level 4.1 range.
From now on, if the project header clip's characteristics require Level 4.1 or higher, the encoder settings are automatically rounded to Level 4.1 compliance. (ex.: In case of a 1920×1080 59.94p clip -upon applying Double framerate filter-, the encoder setting will be 1920×1080 30p. *Note you can manually change the Level and then set any arbitrary value.)
When using the Intel Media SDK or the SpursEngine for the MPEG-4 (AVC) file output in interlace display mode, the resulting framerate would be seen as double than what it should be.
When outputting in an MPEG related format, the encoder's Performance setting would sometimes reset to its default value if the Output multiplexer setting was changed from System (Video + Audio) to ES (Video + Audio) and then changed back to System (Video + Audio).
Corrected (Other)
An error would occur when applying the CUDA version of the Precision video denoise filter on a clip with an original or resized specific size.
Subtitle playback timing and other related settings would become incorrect upon cut-editing a part where a scrolling effect was set in the Subtitles filter.
Mobile and portable device MPEG file output template folder name contained invalid characters.
System Requirements
OS
